Proposed allocation: topics 1–5 are guided online and cover the data and the model; topics 6–12 are worked through during the three physical days, on your own dashboard, with a facilitator beside you.

Dashboards decay quietly: the refresh breaks, two people disagree about what a figure means, and everybody drifts back to the spreadsheet they trust. What gets checked here is whether the model refreshes without you, whether every measure has one agreed definition, and whether somebody is named as its owner.

Yes. The pathway covers all 12 topics, 5 guided online and 7 in the room, subject to the programme’s formal assessment decisions.
The first 5 are introduced through guided online work before the workshop and cover the data and the model. The remaining 7 form the focus of the three physical days in Nairobi, spent building and publishing your own dashboard.
Yes. Under the standard-fee pathway, the $80 initial payment counts toward $580 and leaves $500 payable. The $480 offer is for early full payment, not the instalment plan.

Power BI Desktop is free and is what you will build in. Publishing and sharing with colleagues needs a Pro licence; the publishing topic covers what your organisation will actually have to buy.
It helps but it is not required. Power Query works the same way in both, and the modelling ideas are taught from the beginning rather than assumed.
