We Have Conducted Trainings in 28 Countries Across Africa
Here are some of them
Our Background and Expertise
Vantage Africa School of Leadership has positioned itself as a trusted training partner across Africa. We have trained over 10,000 professionals in 28 countries, walking alongside governments, NGOs and private sector organizations to strengthen their ability to design, monitor, and evaluate programs that deliver real impact.
Our Philosophy
We believe the key factor that will transform Africa is Leadership. And to us, leadership is, among other things, the ability to translate ideas into results. We strongly believe that Africa does not have a shortage of ideas, but rather, execution. With strong M&E, individuals, communities, organizations and countries are better able to execute, translating ideas into tangible results. And that is why, in our endeavor to develop transformational leaders across the continent, we chose to provide practical, hands-on training on Monitoring and Evaluation.
How We Conduct Our M&E Trainings
(and why our methodology works)
Our Unique Approach
Project-based, and results-oriented, ensuring participants can design real logframes, collect digital data, analyze impact, and produce donor-ready reports that drive informed decision-making.
Select Case Study Project
Every participant selects a case study project. Participants are encouraged to select projects they are already implementing, or a project they are passionate about
Develop M&E Plan
Every participant is guided through the development of a comprehensive M&E plan for their project. This ensures that participants can apply skills anywhere
Demonstrate Competence in All Key Skills
In the process of developing the M&E plan, participants get to learn all the skills they need to become Certified M&E Professionals.
Learn by "Doing"
Concepts are learned by doing not by definition. For example, if we are discussing what an "outcome" is, we do not just define it. Participants create it for their projects so as to never forget.
Build all Key M&E Tools
Participants are not certified until they develop all the key tools in M&E, including Theory of Change, Logframe, Results Frameworks, Performance Monitoring Plan, Performance Evaluation Plans etc.
E-Learning Platform
Participants are enrolled on an E-Learning Platform, where they take a quiz after each module. After passing the quizzes for all the 5 modules, they download their certificates.
This approach has produced excellent professionals across the continent who do not just have "book knowledge", but can deliver results in the field.
